Debbie has 17 years of experience and has been providing mental health services since 2008. Her journey into counseling wasn't a straight line—it was a Dynamic Evolution. Starting her career as a Special Education teacher, she developed a profound understanding of diverse learning needs, resilience, and the importance of tailored support before transitioning into the counseling field.

Known for her Humorous, Solution-Oriented, and Warm style, Debbie creates a space where clients feel genuinely seen and heard. She believes that therapy doesn't have to be sterile or overly clinical; it can be deeply human, engaging, and even lighthearted when appropriate.

Personal Touch
Outside of the therapy room, Debbie is deeply connected to her community. She has lived in Madison since 2005 and loves taking advantage of the beautiful Wisconsin outdoors. On weekends, you can often find her out and about exploring Dane County’s bike trails or visiting the local farmer’s market. She and her husband are grateful to have raised their 2 sons here, who still live nearby and are productive members of society. They also keep her laughing…
